The ASR 8000 is a Layer 3 switch with up to 52 ports of 10Gbit/s Ethernet designed for fiber broadband networks to deliver data, voice and video services.

The ASR 8000 series is available in the following models:

ASR 8024-AC / ASR 8024-DC

Uplink: 4 x 10 GE (SFP+) ports. Downlink: 24 x 10GE (SFP+) ports. Front-to-side cooling. All connectors in the front with extra DC power inlet in the rear for redundant power feeds.

ASR 8048-AC / ASR 8048-DC

Uplink: 4 x 10 GE (SFP+) ports. Downlink: 48 x 10GE (SFP+) ports. Front-to-side cooling. All connectors in the front with extra DC power inlet in the rear for redundant power feeds.

ASR 8024E-AC / ASR 8024E-DC

Uplink: 4 x 10 GE (SFP+) ports. Downlink: 24 x 10GE (SFP+) ports. Front-to-side-back cooling. All connectors in the front with extra DC power inlet in the rear for redundant power feeds. Extended temperature -20 to +70 degree C.

ASR 8048E-AC / ASR 8048E-DC
